ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Donations to local education:
August 2006 - 10 fans donated (5 to
high school, 4 to preschool, and 1 to the adult education program)
November 2006 - half the cost of a
printer for the local high school
January 2007 - construction supplies
to put windows on the preschool
March 2007 - utensils for high
school. Also beginning in March 2007, the project is donating
a biweekly healthy snack (fruit) to all of the high schoolers.
April 2007 -
a partial scholarship for a
young girl from the community for her to be able to start on the
first semester at the "La Universidad Estatal a Distancia", in the
future, depending on her academic performance, we will continue to
help her with her studies.
July 2007 - maps for the high school
July 2007- $1000 donation toward mantenance costs and repairs at the elementary school
March 2008 - repairs made to electrical system in elementary school
May 2008 - donation in progress for desks and chairs at the high school and elementary school
