Getting to Tortuguero Village:
Tortuguero is an amazing place. There are no roads to get here. This unique
feature has helped preserve the culture of the pueblo and limit large scale
outside development. We are proud of our pristine environment and remoteness.
Unfortunately, our remoteness sometimes scares less adventurous travelers away.
But Don’t Worry! There are a number of convenient, cheap, and easy ways to
get here, so enjoy the journey to paradise!
