La Casona of Tortuguero can be found in the heart of the village of Tortuguero, alongside the soccer field, 50 steps away from the main street and only 50 feet from the beach!

It is a small business attended by a Costa Rican family who arrived in Tortuguero about 10 years ago. We offer our visitors a warm welcome and the attention and services needed to have a pleasant stay.

Among those services La Casona offers accommodations, restaurant, laundry services, ticket sales, free information about places of interest and different tours that you may want to take in the area.

Also you have at your disposal, an area with hammocks as well as a typical palm-thatched room where you can enjoy a book or something to eat in the restaurant.

In the Gardens you can observe various types of flowers, butterflies, hummingbirds and tropical plants typical of the zone.
