Our restaurant is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (we close from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to prepare for a 1:30 p.m. lunch).

La Casona is World famous for its delicious LASAGNA DE PALMITO (Palm Hearts); also we offer you a variety of other options such as Italian food, Costa Rican typical cuisine, Caribbean style dishes, food from the sea and various vegetarian options.

You may enjoy your meals seated beneath the typical Caribbean-style palm-thatched “rancho”, the only one still left in Tortuguero!
