HISTORY:

I am a native of Tortuguero, and from the time I was a small child, the only way to survive was by hunting. Therefore, I was a hunter. I know this area from the time of my birth. With the passing of years and thanks to the advent of tourism to the village, I have had the opportunity to study to be a local guide and in this manner to be able to take advantage of my background and making a living today in sharing that knowledge.
Today I am a protector of nature!

On my property I have planted various flowers and plants in order to create an open-air butterfly sanctuary, where one can appreciate the different stages of the butterfly as well as one can observe the many types of birds according to each of their seasons.

TOURS:

Canoe Tour within the Tortuguero National Park: this is a 3 hour tour where we visit the water Canals of the Park to observe the Amazing Diversity of the flora and fauna.

Birth of the Turtles: We go in search of the nests of the turtles to see the hatching of the baby turtles and their voyage from nest to the sea.

Tour to the Hill: This is a 3 hour trip where we climb up to the top of the highest point called the: Cerro of Tortuguero, where we will be able to appreciate the marvelous view.
